Day 1

Project intro: Set the stage by making one nice circle by just saying: “Hey please stand in a nice circle”. With a smile 😊 Welcome to the project and to Sende.

Star off with a quick introduction of learning objectives (please try not to tell out loud the exact objectives that you wrote in a project application because your participants would go to sleep). Instead, find one inspirational example, e.g. “My friend Rami started a social specialty coffee kiosk on top of one bicycle, and she only sells coffee from 5 AM to 8 AM to the ferry commuters who cross the lake between France and Switzerland each morning). Tell them that you will be working on deconstructing similar businesses and making your version of your own small business.

You want to inspire them from the start. Use examples. Always.

In the intro, we also present our Sende project (It’s the place where we organize our events) and this intro is very brief.

Then we present trainers and support staff (so they know who is in the team and to whom they can ask for logistical support).

And then we jump on the first name game activity.
